To protect the personal rights of the children and young people entrusted to us, we are changing their names in stories and / or advertisements. We then mainly use symbolic images, with the exception of personal reports and photos of the orphanage sponsorship. Which personal data are processed?

The Power Foundation collects, processes and uses your personal data only with your consent or if there is another legal basis in accordance with the GDPR; this in compliance with data protection and civil law provisions. Only those personal data are collected that are necessary for the implementation and processing of the data processing mentioned below or that you have provided to us voluntarily. The Power Foundation will not process the data made available for purposes other than the purpose covered by your consent or otherwise covered by the GDPR. This does not apply to statistical purposes, provided that the data made available has been anonymized.

Personal data are all data that contain individual details about personal or factual circumstances of people, for example name, company name, address, e-mail address, telephone number, date of birth, age, gender or account details.

Which data are processed by donors and potential donors?

The following data is processed by donors and potential donors: master data, date of birth, contact details, communication history, demand behavior.

If you donate by SMS: phone number, network operator of this phone number, SMS text and donation amount.

The purpose of the data processing is the acquisition of donations through the acquisition and recovery of donors for the fulfillment of the statutory organizational purposes and for the administration of donations made. The provision of name data and bank details is required for gift agreements (donations / sponsorship services) and due to tax regulations and money laundering regulations. If they are not made available, donations and sponsorship services cannot be accepted and no purchases can be made in the donation shop. The provision of name data and dates of birth is also necessary due to the automated employee tax assessment for the tax consideration of a donation. If the donations are not made available, they cannot be considered as special expenses for tax purposes. The legal basis for this data processing is Art 6 Paragraph 1 lit f GDPR, our legitimate interest lies in the above-mentioned purpose, furthermore the legal basis for this data processing lies in the fulfillment of a contract in accordance with Art 6 Paragraph lit b GDPR and the fulfillment of a legal obligation in accordance with Art 6 para 1 lit c GDPR.
